Hi again. Wow, lots of interesting topics posted already! After 7 days, theNewTop10 has received 84 Top10 topics and 391 items! I would like to thank all of our “beta” users for their contributions. I have received a lot of valuable feedback, and I encourage you all to keep sending me your thoughts about our site.

I would like to take a minute here and share how theNewTop10 came to be. It all started with a simple observation: I, like many other casual internet users, love coming across interesting articles that include Top 10 lists. It always seemed as though the more obscure the Top 10 topic was, the more I enjoyed the article. However, I almost always disagreed with the ordering of the items in the list, and after browsing the comments of any Top 10 list I would quickly discover I wasn’t the only one. Hence, I came up with theNewTop10, a community driven site for Top 10 lists. Here we are, six months later, but this is only the beginning. Stay tuned!
